The Research About The Factors Of The College Students Online Games Addiction

With the popularization of the computer and the development of internet technology. People's lives have been integrated gradually with the web. Many network entertainment applications have gradually substituted for the traditional entertainment way, and online game is such a best case. The research of the online games addiction among the college students becomes an emerging issue recently. It gradually becomes a social problem the more and more physical, psychological and family problems have been revealed one after another because of over-indulgence in online games.Several tools for survey had been used in this thesis, included depth interview and field observations, all of surveys are conducted at on-site. This research is focused on the college students online games addiction, have deeply analyzed for the online game itself, and put together as some relevant strategies for reference. The research consists of five parts:PartⅠ:It elaborated the background , methods, object of the on-line games addiction of college students and the research's meaning and innovation of this article.PartⅡ:According to the literature about the online games addiction, this article defined and classified the concepts of online games and online games addiction, and analyzed the current situation of the research about online games addiction.PartⅢ:In this part, the author analyzed the special charms of online games, which include the forms, the contents, and the fashions.PartⅣ:According to the personal experiences of playing online games in college, and the interviews with online games addicts and counselors, the author describe the alienation by online games, analyze three factors of addiction to online games and the harm. PartⅤ:According to the various theories as described in four parts earlier, from the online games and the college students, proposed some interventional strategies on college students addiction to online games.
