The Empirical Analysis On Service Intra-industry Trade Between China, Japan And Korea

In the background of increasingly turbulent trend of low-carbon economy, especially in the most recent climate congress in Copenhagen, countries in the world pay more attention to the restructuring of world trade and the changing of economic growth pattern, while the development of service industry and service trade could best meet the requirements of current economic development and the trade growth in transition. On the other hand, along with the deepening economic globalization, the intra-industry trade is no longer the patent of trade between the developed countries, and is becoming an integral part of foreign trade development in developing countries. Therefore, in view of the future trend of the world's service trade development and the growing new features of intra-industry trade in China's foreign trade, the paper just use the theoretical analysis and the empirical analysis to study on the present situation, the trend of development and the influencing factor of service intra-industry trade between China, Japan and Korea based on the intra-industry trade theory and related empirical research methods, and provide the appropriate countermeasures on carrying out the service trade with Japan, Korea and other countries for China.The paper has first summarized the related research literature about intra-industry trade theory and trade gravity model at home and abroad, reviewed the achievements and shortcomings of previous academic research and described the measurement system of intra-industry trade, related concepts and judgment standard. Then use the measurement system to calculate the service intra-industry trade level between China, Japan and Korea, while come to a conclusion that the main type of service intra-industry trade in Sino-Korea and Japan-Korea is HIIT and Sino-Japan is VIIT. Finally, the paper use trade gravity model to find the main factors of service intra-industry trade between China and Japan, Korea based on the previous study of manufacture intra-industry trade's factors and the data collection, then supply the referenced suggestions for the future development of our country's service trade.
