The Plight Of Private Small And Medium Enterprises And The Response Of Local Government

This paper firstly starting with the development process and current situation of the private economy in Zhejiang Province, describes the main difficulties of the SMEs in Zhejiang Province in the international financial crisis which is based on the background of the crisis, analyzes the reason of the SMEs fell in trouble from both sides of marker failure and government failure. At the same time, this article generalizes and analyzes the policy measures of Zhejiang local government which supports the development of the SMEs. On this basis, it makes solution including improving the legal environment for SMEs, encouraging and guiding private capital development, increasing efforts to support corporate finance and taxation, improving the exports environment of foreign business, building the SMEs financing system, improving corporate social service system and improving the quality of public services.
