Guided by the related theories of small and medium-sized enterprises, this dissertation expounds the concept of small and medium-sized enterprises through comparing the different definition between China and other countries. Moreover, it points out necessary environment of development via the analysis of living and developing environments of small and medium-sized enterprises in developed countries. Take the actual conditions into consideration in the region of Yanbian, it mainly studies the living and developing environments and existing problems of small and medium-sized enterprises in this area in order to concentrate on helping consummate the living and developing small and medium-sized enterprises.
