A Study On The Interaction Relationship Between The Of Financial Structure And Financial Stability

The global financial crisis triggered by Sub-prime crisis in the United States, which changed American's financial structure drastically, may even will affect the changes of the world financial architecture. At the same time, American-style financial model was oppugned. The financial stability has been the focus of the world. Almost national financial authorities have begun to issue financial stability-related data and policy interpretation, and early warning of instability timely, involved the US'Government. Currently, the theoretical problem of the financial stability is of the cutting-edge issues in finance. The study has just started on the financial stability, and there is a big difference in the definition of what is financial stability. Many scholars study the financial stability by studying the stability of banks; this study has many limitations because that financial stability is not only the stability of the banking. The author found that financial structure changes often lead to financial crisis financial crises when study the financial crisis, an extreme cases of financial instability. But presently, scholars mainly focused on purely theoretical study when study the financial structure, or study the relationship between the financial structure and economic development. So I find the viewpoint of my study, -do some research on the relationship of financial structure and financial stability. In my dissertation, I focus my attention on studying the problem that how the evolvement of financial structure affects the financial stability, in another word, what's the mechanism of financial structure affecting financial stability.The author studied the existing literature, learned the definition of financial structure of Professor Li Jian, quoted the PBC's definition of financial structure. Then study the on the interaction mechanism of the financial structure and financial stability using theoretical and empirical analysis method. In the part of theoretical analysis, the author set America as an example, then analyzed how the financial structure'evolvement impacted the financial stability during the financial crisis, which occurred during 1929-2008.In the empirical analysis part, the author chooses representative index of financial structure, and formulated Logit-modle to measure the degree of the impact.Then,I combinated the theoretical analysis and empirical findings, as well as China's national conditions, and proposed a series of policy recommendations.
