Research On Evaluation Of Sustainablity Of Biomass Power Generation Projects

In this paper, starting from the background of the development of biomass power generation projects, the author explains the current problems in the rapid development of biomass power generation projects in China, and brings forward the significance of the research on evaluation of sustainability of biomass power generation projects in China, the main research contents and methods; and based on project post-evaluation theory and sustainable development theory, through analyzing the characteristics of biomass power generation projects and the content of their sustainability, analyzes the factors which affect the sustainability of biomass power generation projects from five aspects:technical effect, financial and economic benefits, social impact, environmental impact, and management effect, and then, constructs an hierarchy index system for the evaluation of sustainability of biomass power generation projects from these aspects by using AHP, and designs a model for the evaluation of sustainability of biomass power generation projects; and at last, carries out evaluation of sustainability of W biomass power generation project with the index system and model of evaluation of sustainability of biomass power generation projects. It indicates that the index system and valuation model built has fairly good applicabilityIn this paper, the research on evaluation of sustainability of biomass power generation projects provides a favorable basis in making investment decision for biomass power generation projects in the future. To a certain extent, it can avoid blind investment in such projects; and it is conducive to sustainable development of ecology, economy and society. In addition, some proposal which may promote the development of existing biomass power generation projects and biomass power generation industry is also proposed, in the hope of it may play a certain role to help the government administration and project managers.
