| Knowledge intensive service trade is the exchange activities of all kinds of knowledge intensive service between countries, which include construction, communication, insurance, financial, computer and information services. It plays an important role in trade development, employment and economic growth of a country. Therefore, many countries make efforts to the development of their knowledge intensive service trade for a higher market share in the world. Which has made knowledge intensive service became one of the fastest growing and most competitive industries in the world at present. Chinese knowledge intensive service trade shows features of fast growth accompanied by trade deficit and growth rate fluctuation; promotion effect to trade and economic increasing accompanied by low ratio of total service trade; internal industries developing fast accompanied by irrationality structure and so on. Using export market share, normalized trade balance, revealed comparative advantage formula, this paper making estimate and international comparison of the competitiveness of Chinese knowledge intensive service trade. Which has found that the competitiveness of Chinese knowledge intensive service trade is weak, and have some distance comparing with the developed countries. Further more, using the theory of competitive advantage of nations, this paper analyzed the impact of four basic factors and two accessory factors of Chinese knowledge intensive service trade. Which drew a conclusion that Chinese knowledge intensive service trade will have low competitiveness in short term, but this situation will be improve in long term. This means that the competitiveness of Chinese knowledge intensive service trade has a strong development potential. At last, to take full advantage of Chinese knowledge intensive service trade development potential, this paper put forward the strategies for cultivating its competitive advantage. |
