At present,China is vigorously developing services trade,improving the level of services trade become an important support for China's foreign trade transformation and upgrading,From the global economic point of view,services trade also play the role of "new engine" in national economic development.In recent years,although the overall size of China's servicetrade rank among the forefront of the world,but mainly in the expansion of trade in services imports,compared with developed countries,China's ability to export trade in services is still weak,which is the key to reflect the international competitiveness of a country's service trade,So,how to enhance the international competitiveness in the development of service trade is also an urgent problem to solve.Based on this background,this paper studies the competitiveness of China's service trade and its impact factors,which has great practical significance in narrowing the gap with the developed countries.From the current development of trade and services,the situation of China's service trade deficit continues to expand,showing "scissors mouth" development,the level of trade in services have long lagged behind trade in goods,mutual support and reinforcing effect is not obvious.Meanwhile,China's service trade exports still exist unreasonable phenomenon in terms of structure,service exports are mainly concentrated in the traditional service industries,export capacity of the emerging service industries is weak,China's service trade fail to form a development trend which balanced and coordinated all service industries.The problems existing in the development of trade in services,to some extent,affected the promotion of China's service trade competitiveness.In order to systematically understand the development of China's service trade competitiveness in recent years,This paper chooses three evaluation indexes:trade competitive advantage,revealing comparative advantage and trade openness,from the overall and the industry aspects,measuring the service trade competitiveness of China and the world's major countries,on the one hand,understanding the changes in the overall competitiveness of trade in services,on the other hand,comparatively analyzing the competitiveness of all service industries.The index analysis shows that China's overall service competitiveness level is not high,The competitiveness of knowledge-intensive modern service industry is weak,While the competitiveness of labor-intensive service industry has not been significantly improved in recent years.In addition,using CMS model to analyze the competitive effect of service trade in China and other countries,by exploring the relationship between the competitiveness of service trade and the export of service trade,study show that raising the level of competitiveness of China's overall service trade is helpful to the growth of service trade export.Finally,based on the "diamond model" theory system,this paper selects the per capita GDP,the development of trade in goods,the level of service opening,human capital investment and R&D capital investment as explanatory variables,study the impact of five variables on the competitiveness of trade in services.The empirical results show that the per capita GDP,the level of trade in goods and the level of service opening have a positive impact on the competitiveness of service trade.Combining with the present situation of China 's economic development,government should improve the competitiveness of service trade by coordinating trade development,expanding opening degree and improving domestic demand.Through the above methods,this paper not only carry on the comparative analysis of the international service trade competitiveness,reflect the insufficiency and the gap of China's service trade competitiveness,but also applies the "diamond model" competitive advantage theory to the service trade field,empirical analyzes the influencing factors of the competitiveness of service trade and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for enhancing the competitiveness of China's service trade.
