| The analysis using both OLS and hierarchical linear model (HLM) shows that economic openness increases Urban-Rural Discrimination, based-on 2002 Urban and Rural Migrant Household Investigation. And in a more open city, the urban citizen will get a more huge priority over rural migrants in education returning. Therefore, in a more open city, the government should pay more attention on the bad side of Urban-Rural Discrimination. And to help the rural migrants fit into urban society quickly, the government should also focus on labor market reforming, especially on eliminating education returning disparity between urban citizen and rural migrants. |
