In 2008, the financial crisis has occurred in America, affecting the world economy. It inspired a new awareness of modern society, the understanding of the era of globalization such as banking, currency, debt, credit and other crises. It also sparked the modern in-depth reflection, and once again aroused people's understanding of Marxist theory. Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to analyze and rebuild the Marx's theory of crisis and his critical theory of capitalist modernity through the financial crisis, and to derive inspiration.Text is divided into four chapters.ChapterⅠ:Economic and financial crises:characteristics, impacts, factors and sources. This chapter will begin with the analysis on the globalization of the economic crisis and its impacts by analyzing the effects of the "credit" on financial crisis. Through exploring the links between the economic crisis and financial crisis to demonstrate that the internal contradiction of capitalist mode of production is the root cause of crisis. Crisis caused a lot of modern issues, which causes people and society's attention and provides a practical basis for people to "return to Marxism-text".ChapterⅡ:Marx's crisis theory. The chapter shows an overview of Marx's crisis theory including the meaning, manifestation and characteristic of the crisis. And to demonstrate the essence of Marx's crisis theory is the critique of capitalist modernity.ChapterⅢ:Perspective of Marx's theory on modernity. The chapter analyzes the concept, the source and historical period of modernity. It reveals the special perspective of Marx's critique of modernity. Capital is the core of the Marx's critique of modernity.ChapterⅣ:Marx's Critique of Modernity. The chapter exposits the specific content on Marx's critique of modernity. Marx's critique is based on empirical critique of political economy. Especially in Marx's Capital, Marx reveals the relationship between people and people through analyzing three basic categories such as goods, capital and alienation.
