Automobile industry has great relations with other aspects of economy. If automobile industry grows, the economy in a country will develop. So automobile industry has an important position in a country's economy. Through analyzing and comparing the policies among America, Japan and China, the writer finds the problems existed in our automobile industry and give some ideas. We should adjust our automobile industry policy, draw lessons from American and Japanese experience, determine our goal and concentrate on the scale, get rid of monopoly and reduce limit, carry out purchase by government, develop it based on protecting environment, help to bring about the creating ability, adjust tax policy and so on, so we can make our automobile industry grow correctly.There are six parts in the article. The first part is introduction, explaining the reason why this subject is chosen and also give us a brief account of general theory. The second part is a summary of literature, the winter points out the importance of the article. In the third part, the writer explains a policy developing process in China, America and Japan, including general situation of all countries. In the fourth part, the writer analyses the American policies, including industry protection and competition, roads building and consuming tax. The author also analyses the policies in Japan, concerning industry protection, supporting policy and concentrating on the scale. In the fifth part, based on our actual situation, we should absorb the experience and draw a lesson from America and Japan. The last part is conclusion. In this part, the author analyses the problems existed in our automobile industry and put forward a proposal.The purpose of the article is to offer some theory reference for formulating policy of our country, so that we can develop our automobile industry correctly.
