Investment, quality and scheduling are three objectives of a projcet. And the schedule controling plays very important role, which would affect the other two goals directly. An good plan means the half of success, and working out a reasonable and effective network plan in the project schedule management is significant on supplying technique for construction.In the area of scheduling management, critical path method (CPM) and program evaluation and review technique (PERT) are playing important roles, however, it always occurs delaying due to Parkinson's low and Students syndrome, this paper makes an investigation on Critical Chain Project Management deeply, which is the latest developments of scheduling, and elaborates basic assumptions and principles of CCPM in order to providing effective reference for decision-makers and managers when they are planning project duration.Then, PERT/CPM technique and CCPM management are mutually independent. PERT /CPM emphasizes on the stage of schedule researching, therefore, activity's duration D, the most optimistic time a, the most pessimistic time b and the most likely time m reflect the characteristics of activity's duration truthfully. At the same time, CCPM focus on the manner of organizational management and plays a role on the stage of implementation.However, it's too subjective when setting activity's duration by CCPM. Confronting this circumstance, this paper proposes a method of handing out schedule to execution base on PERT/CPM and CCPM, which would provides a new clue for schedule management. At the same time, combining with the example of a project, this paper make rational handing out schedules besed on methods suggested in this paper.Furthermore, no matter how perfect a planning is, it just provides reference for controling. If project delays due to the failure of controling, schedule management is unsuccessful. Therefore, it is very important to make a good controling. At present, masses of CCPM's researchers are focusing on methods of determing critical chain and buffers'sizing, and thet are hoping to make an effective schedule. However, they ignore buffer monitoring, which is also the composition of CCPM. On the other hand, the'three-color'method adviced by Goldratt the link between'amount of work done'and the'amount of buffer consumption', so it is too simple to be practiced. In order to improving it, this paper takes account of the uncertainty of activities based on PERT, and establishes the link discussed above, then it proposes a parameters of buffer monitoring, which will offers impactful referrence for schedule controling.
