The Option Of Cross-strait Bank Cooperation Model In The Post-crisis Era

With the ride through the global financial crisis, China is sliding into a relatively constant post-crisis era. In this era, some new changes are coming out in the cooperation among cross-strait banks. Because of continuous loose of foreign financial enterprises in the financial crisis, banks in China will show their advantages progressively, and bank in Taiwan will also have some breaks in the development of customers. In this situation, it is becoming a key project for cooperation among cross-strait banks which is how to choose a model that can fit the characteristics of post-crisis era.This article centers on the collaborative model of the banking in the Taiwan Straits under the era of post-crisis, falls into four sections:First, based on the introduction of symbiosis theory, we analyzed the necessity and significance of the banking collaboration in the Taiwan Straits through environment induced mechanism, symbiotic dynamic mechanism and symbiotic damp in mechanism; second, we analyzed and concluded the comprehensive evaluation the collaborative model of the banking in the Taiwan Straits before the financial crisis; furthermore, we observed the new transformation of this symbiotic mechanism under the circumstance then took this transformation as the foundation of the choice of collaborative model; Last, we chose and revised the former collaborative model of the banking in the Taiwan Straits under the particular post-crisis era and the general principle of the collaborative model selection. We also suggested that the better choice of collaborative model under this particular situation should be the mutual equity participation which was followed the transition from covenant model. We are hoping the option of cross-strait bank cooperation model will draw on the experience of the analysis and research in this article, in order to show the advantages of cooperation, improve the development and evolution.
