Multi-attribute Decision Making, also called limited program of multi-objective decision making, is an important branch of modern decision science, with its theory and method widely used in economics, management, engineering, military and many other fields. In the theoretical research, multi-attribute decision making has been the research topic in academic circles since its inception. However, in recent years, uncertain multi-attribute decision making attracts more and more attention. Multi-attribute decision making of interval numbers is one of a class of uncertain multi-attribute decision making problems. As the decision-makers often have to face complex things, uncertain environment or because of the ambiguity of human thought, it is uaually impossible or difficult for them to provide the affirmatory value of decision-making information. However, they choose to ues interval numbers to represent the characteristics of the attribute, which makes multi-attribute decision making problem of interval numbers have aroused great concern in academic circles. Therefore, the research of multi-attribute decision making problem of interval numbers has important theoretical significance and practical application value. This thesis mainly intends to anylize and study the relevant theories about how decision-making information provides multi-attribute decision making methods in the form of interval numbers. Concrete work are summarized as follows:(1) By describing briefly the current research on multi-attribute decision making problem of interval numbers and analyzing the current problems existed in decision-making methods and the need for further research on them, the writer is finally able to determine the main contents of this thesis.(2) By analyzing the past methods of comparison between interval numbers, the writer proposes a relatively new one. In standardization of decision-making matrix, a new method is also proposed and method for sorting of more interval numbers is established on its basis.(3)By using those new methods proposed above, the writer has successfully solved an project problem and verified the validity of those methods at the same time.
