The Research About Promoting The Industrialization Of Agriculture In Central China

The central China including six major provinces of agriculture has always been our country's important area of agricultural production and the key agricultural supply base, where the output of major farm products occupies a crucial position. The industrialization of agriculture in central China has begun to take shape and show a sound momentum of development after years of development. As is proposed explicitly in our Policy of Prosperous Central China, central China is to be built as the important food production base and agricultural products processing industry base of our country, however, the industrialization of agriculture in central China is still at the preliminary stage of development, many problems need to been explored and solved in the process of promoting the industrialization of agriculture and developing modern agriculture. This paper, taking Yueyang city, an important commodity grain base known as a land of milk and honey in Hunan province, as a sample, to probe the existing problems and countermeasures in the industrialization of agriculture of central China. At first, this paper defines the industrialization of agriculture, elaborates its essential features and study its theoretical basis and support. Then, combining the situation of agricultural economy and social development, the thesis studies the present situation and factors that influences the industrialization of agriculture in Yueyang city. Besides, based on the reference of agricultural integration development experience at home and abroad, it proposes countermeasures and suggestions to promote the industrialization of agriculture in Yueyang city. Finally, the thesis summarize the main conclusion in the promoting industrialization of agriculture in central China and problems which need to been further pondered and researched.
