The Research On Income Distribution In Guangdong Province Behind The Miracle Of Economy Growth

With over 30 years of high-speed development, Guangdong Province has created lots of economic miracle, and has become the most powerful economy province in China. However, with the remarkable economic achievements in the field of even distribution of income has also broken, the income gap gradually exposed. Diversified sources of revenue contributed to the pattern of diversification of residents'income in Guangdong Province. It has brought economic benefits among different groups, re-adjustment of income distribution and even social contradictions and conflicts. Income gap phenomenon has highlighted and reflected in following three fields:the urban-rural revenue gap, income gap between different industries, regional disparities of earnings. These three gaps are three serious problems of the imbalanced distribution of wealth in Guangdong Province.This paper analyzes the reality of income distribution in Guangdong Province. Through using interdisciplinary research, comparative method, qualitative research, quantitative study and combining history and reality, this article draws some conclusion:1 From Macro-income distribution point of view, the proportion of wages fell rapidly these years. The income gap between the rich and the poor is growing wide. The incidence of poverty in Guangdong Province is above the national average.2 Guangdong provincial government didn't take effective measure to narrow income gap in the past. It is true that the high-income group is seldom regulated and the protection for the low-income group is insufficient.3 Finally, this paper proposes some policy options, such as making sure that everyone has a fair opportunity, taxation regulation, fiscal policy, social security, guiding the tertiary distribution of income. All these policy arrangements are to control the income gap within a reasonable range.
