As an important evaluation indicator to the efficiency of enterprise management, the employee engagement is increasingly emphasized in academic circles and business community. There are many specialized studies in the employee engagement influencing factor with the theory of modern economics and management and the approach of practical research. However, these studies have ignored the factors relationship, which leading to a scarcity of overall and systematical consideration and a separation from interrelationship among factors. In fact the deeply influence factor on individual attitude and behavioral variable is the fit between the individual and work environment, whereas the employee engagement, as an individual attitude and behavioral variable, is inevitable effected by this fit level. In sum, this paper investigated the employee engagement influence from the view of individual-job fit and its sub-concepts. This paper was aimed to testify the influence from individual-job fit to employee engagement, and discussed how to enhance the employee engagement and thereby improve enterprise performance.Founded on the review of previous research, this paper proposed our hypothesis, constructed the theoretical model and specified the research design, and investigated 8 organizations of Beijing. Besides, this paper used reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis to discuss the influencing factors of employee engagement. After the investigation, this study found out that:At first, It is an effective way to research employee engagement influencing factor in terms of the P-J fit. The person-job fit has an obvious relation to employee engagement and has a more convincible interpretation, even more perfect than the factors from the parallel studies of single-dimension; Second, from the three sub-concepts of person-job fit, this study concluded that the SC-J Fit has a greater impact than the S-V Fit and R-A Fit; At last, this paper established an employee engagement model based on the P-J fit theory, by the result analysis and relative studies comparison.
