Research On The Effect Of Adjustment Of Industrial Structure In Heilongjiang Province Under Opening Economy

It has been 30 years since China's reform and opening policy began. China's economy has been gradually integrated into the world economy in this period. Under the circumstance of global economic integration, how to develop China's economy has been paid more and more attention by all walks of life. Heilongjiang province is located in the center of Northeast Asia. However, its late start of integration into the world economy and many drawbacks existing in the industrial structure cause the lagging levels in its economic development. In the occasion of the full implementation of the country to revitalize the northeast old industrial bases,combining with the current trend of global economic integration to analyze how to optimize and upgrade industrial structure in Heilongjiang province is the starting point for writing this paper.The study object of this paper is the effect and role that open economy bring to the industrial structure upgrading in Heilongjiang Province. After analyzing the status and characteristics of the foreign trade and foreign direct investment in Heilongjiang province, the author analyzes the impact on three industries from the foreign trade and foreign direct investment in Heilongjiang Province, and then combines the influence coefficient with input-output tables to conclude the leading industry of Heilongjiang Province, on this account making a number of policy recommendations.Paper is divided into five chapters. Introduction includes the major topics of paper, research content, research methods, review of related research content at home and abroad a brief summary of the innovations. ChapterⅡdefines the related concept and briefly demonstrates relevant theories about industrial structure under the open economy, providing a theoretical basis for the empirical analysis of the article. ChapterⅢspecifically analyzes the evolution and current status of industrial structure, foreign trade and foreign direct investment in Heilongjiang Province's. On the basis of ChapterⅢ, ChapterⅣestablishes regression model between foreign trade and three industries, concluding that development of foreign trade make the greatest contribution for the tertiary industry, but make the smallest contribution for primary industry. Moreover, through the establishment of DLM model between foreign direct investment and tertiary industries, it concludes:First, why foreign direct investment in Heilongjiang Province has its nearly 90% share concentrated in the second industrial; Secondly, in the short and medium term, foreign direct investment makes the proportion of the secondary industry output value in Heilongjiang province GDP increase; While in the long term, foreign direct investment can make the proportion of tertiary industry output value in Heilongjiang province GDP increase. Therefore, in the long run, to develop open economy is conducive to optimizing and upgrading the industrial structure in Heilongjiang Province. Finally, this chapter is also making a decision for the leading industry in Heilongjiang Province, which based on the input-output tables, science quantitative indicators and the factors of the foreign trade and foreign direct investment. ChapterⅤ, based on the analysis in the above, it offers the policy recommendations to adjustment of industrial structure in Heilongjiang Province under the conditions of open up the economy.
