As the safety of power supply equipment has strong relation with the development of economy, the original time-based-maintenance is not suitable for the electricity demand. Many power supply enterprises began to focus on condition maintenance model. By systematic analysis of the problems in condition and risk assessment, the index system, a rough set and support vector machine based model and condition based risk management method is introduced in this paper. By the case analysis, the new method is more accurate and rapid than the original method. It can also adapt itself to many power supply equipment. Using this method can optimize the process of condition maintenance. The equipment can get effective and timely maintenance, which meas a lot to the safety of power supply enterprices.
