With the development of the tourism of our country, there is aggressive competition among branch markets of tourism. Under this circumstance, it is not hard to find that college students are playing an vital role in this market because of their special knowledge and experience. As college students have those advantages, it is significant to look into their traveling behavior and characters in order to develop the traveling market of university students.This essay mainly argues that both internal and external factors of college students traveling behavior depend on the theory of psychology, marketing and traveling behavior. The result of the research relies on 500 samples of university students in Changchun in terms of. analyzing their attitude, motivation and preference towards the traveling market. As the consequence of research, college students in Changchun have relatively low rate of traveling because of the limit of condition of economy, but they still have positive attitude towards traveling. Most of the students like to travel with their friends but hate to attend to some traveling team. Besides, they are not aware of the development of traveling market. It should be pointed out that the college students traveling market still have some certain problems, which need universities, government and traveling agencies making efforts collectively to address. We hope our advice would be helpful to the development of both our education and traveling market.
