Dividend distribution policy is an important element of the enterprise's financial management. It is not only the distribution of corporate earnings, but also concerning the enterprise's investment, financing and stock prices and so on. The excess of dividend distribution which decreases retained earnings, has an effect on the ability of enterprises re-investment and may lead to the falling of stock price; and low dividend payments, would lead to dissatisfaction of shareholders, so the share price will also decline. Therefore, the development of a reasonable dividend distribution policy is very important. Through analysis of the dividend distribution situation of textile listed company from 2005 to 2008, the writer finds out that there are questions such as the low rate of dividend payment and the lack of continuity and stability in the textile listed company's dividend policy in our country, which has an seriously negative impact on textile listed company and investors. As for the condition, this paper analyzes the internal factors that affect the textile listed company's dividend distribution policy, with the aim of providing certain reference for the textile listed company to develop dividend distribution policy and standardizing the dividend distribution behavior of the textile listed companies. This paper is divided into six parts. Chapter 1 firstly introduces the background, research significance, research content and research method. Chapter 2 is the relevant theory and literature review of dividend policy, it mainly presents the basic theory of dividend policy and an overview of research results in China and Western countries. Chapter 3 is the problems and causes of dividend policy in textile listed companies. Chapter 4 is the empirical analysis of the internal factors affecting dividend policy of textile listed companies. In the Chapter 5, the corresponding countermeasures are put forward according to the empirical conclusions of the textile listed companies in chapter 4. Chapter 6 is a study of innovations and shortcomings.
