In recent years, many Chinese powerful enterprises went into Western developed countries through the implementation of cross-border mergers and acquisitions of some well-known enterprises, in order to access to their original marketing channels, established brands and intellectual property, and hope to use the existing channels of distribution of the acquired companies to enter the local market quickly, and introduce other products of Chinese companies in the market. At the same time, Chinese companies are also hoping to bypass the non-trade barriers in other countries to reduce the cost of cross-border operation; also get the acquired company's patented technology to improve their own R & D technology; or via mergers and acquisitions of listed companies of the overseas, Chinese enterprises can open a new channel for financing, which is a shortcut of the internationalization for Chinese enterprises. But the harsh reality is that most of China's current cross-border mergers and acquisitions in the Western developed countries were eventually failed, and statistics show that there were only about successful merger cases 30% in total, and 70% did not achieve the expected synergies and benefits of return. A successful M & A consists mainly of two factors: one is the acquisition of physical restructuring of corporate resources; the other is the integration of the corporate culture.This paper, combines the general theory of enterprises mergers and acquisitions integration and the practice of cross-border mergers and acquisitions of our country in Western developed countries, and focuses on the cross-border mergers and acquisitions in the integration of the corporate culture of Chinese enterprises in Western developed countries, at the same time the writer think that if we are able to do a good job in the integration of corporate culture in Western developed countries, it will help us to finish the cultural integration around the world in the future. So, this article first briefly reviews and evaluates the mergers and acquisitions at home and abroad on the integration of corporate culture research, and introduces briefly to the study methods and main innovation points in this paper; then, this paper summarizes the corporate culture, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and cross-border M & A cultural integration theory. Then, the paper analyzes the motive of M&A of Chinese enterprises in Western developed countries, the characteristics of cross-board M&A in this stage, the differences of the national culture and corporate cultural between Western countries and us and China M & A enterprises generally face the plight of cultural integration. Finally, on the basis of the previous text, this paper presents the principle of cross-cultural integration and the strategies and methods of cultural integration of cross-border M & A for Chinese enterprises, including the model of choice after cross-border M & A , and to build a common corporate vision and cross-cultural training…etc., and analyzes the case of Lenovo and BenQ cross-border M & A cultural integration.
