The Research Of International Services Trade's Contribution To China's Economic Growth

With the development of world economy and industrial structure upgrading, Service Trade has been developed rapidly. The global economy has began to transfer from industry to the services, and as it is shown, Service Trade plays more and more important role in enhancing economic efficiency, stimulating the growth of GDP and employment and optimizing the industrial structure. Although its trading scale is expanding, growth rate takes a fast pace, our Service Trade still exists some problems such as lower degree of opening and international competitiveness, uneven development growth in services sectors, irrational import and export structure, high deficit, slight effect on GDP growth and employment and so on. So in order to seize the opportunities of service cross-border transference, adjust our industrial structure to accelerate our services development and to enhance our trade competitiveness, we must find some desirable ways to resolve the obstacles that we face.In this paper, the writer will use literature study, theoretical explanation and empirical analysis as the major research methods. The writer will introduce the service trade theories firstly, then analyze current status of service trade and the international service trade competitiveness, and then gain the relationship of economic growth and employment by empirical analysis. In the above study, the paper tried to find our current problems of trade in services, and try to propose some policy recommendations.
