Research Of Local Firms' Upgrading In The Foreign Capital Intensive Area

Most of the local small and medium enterprises in China are in the low end of the value chain, which with small space profit background. Self transformation and upgrading of SMEs need to have some, but now more on the theory of industrial upgrading is starting from a macro-industry level, even from the micro level of business enterprise upgrade path, and more involved in the upgrade only general path, the existing theory is not enough for the local small and medium enterprises to provide a good basis for upgrading measures.This paper intensive the upgrade path of local SMEs in the areas of foreign capital, aims to provide some upgrade reference for the local small and medium enterprises.Firstly, from the theory, outlined the general concept of enterprise upgrading and research situation; based the theory of global value chain of enterprises in global value chains upgrading, and find upgrade guiding theory companies. Secondly, foreign capital-intensive areas of the background of small and medium enterprises to upgrade, according to the theory of industrial clusters and other areas of foreign capital intensive advantage of local SMEs to upgrade constraints, combined with the characteristics of local SMEs, comprehensive analysis of local SMEs to upgrade the alternative path: the scene management, process and product innovation, technology and R&D capacity building, networking and embedded in organizational learning. Depth analysis the specific paths of local SMEs to upgrade, this paper based on the proposed alternative route, depth analysis of various alternative paths starting from the theoretical. From the theoretical analysis, this paper summarizes the areas of foreign capital-intensive SMEs to upgrade a variety of alternative paths, based on this more in-depth discussion in order to find the most suitable upgrade path from the local small and medium enterprises. In this paper, on the AHP path to building all levels of local SMEs to determine matrix. And then using the Delphi method, based the experts'opinion the paper calculated the weights of local SMEs upgrade path. Through AHP, for local SMEs to identify the specific upgrade path. Then the paper analysis the discussion of the weight of the upgrade path, Finally, based on the weight the paper propose the Conclusion of the SMEs upgrade path in the foreign capital intensive area.
