The First Exploration For Russian Fa Qiang

This paper attempts to do a comprehensive study on the state-level intangible cultural heritage of the Qiang people which called"Russian fa qiang", reveals the rich cultural values that they cover, and investigates the suggestions and solutions about how to conservation and heritage"Russian fa qiang". I want this paper can provide valuable reference about how to conservation and heritage Chinese precious cultural heritage of ethnic minorities.Qiang, one of the oldest nation of China, Xiaotong Fei who is a national expert once said:"Qiang is an nation for outward transfusion, many peoples flow the blood from it."However, in the region of qiang, there have been circulating such a custom for thousands of years: for the sacrifice of elder sister Sharon who is a dance goddess in the heaven, the people living in the area of the qiang would hold"Russian fa qiang"in may 5 of lunar calendar of each year, they dressed in bright costumes, wearing a silver jewelry and went to the area before this stone pagoda of the goddess regardless of their asigan to take part in the ancient traditional festivals."Russian fa qiang"is commonly referred to as"the song celestial being"or"the leading song"activities, and Locals say again "women's day" for that it is the only custom of qiang women. The festival is a comprehensive folk festival activity predominantly for the female, which integrates dance, food, religion, customs, equal to one and can reflect the cultural skeleton of qiang, as a result, it plays an important role in the ethnic folk culture of qiang."Russian fa qiang"is inseparable with the national history and traditional culture, as well as ancient Matriarchal worship custom.In May 2006,"Russian fa qiang"was listed in "the first state-level non-material cultural heritage list." For our government, the general office of the state council issued on strengthening Chinese non-material cultural heritage protection work of opinion in March 2005. "Russian fa qiang" as the non-material cultural heritage is discussed systematically in this paper, and by which the cultural connotation as well as inheritance and change expressed are explored on base of combining theory and empirical survey of research, still the reasons for group identity and strengthening the excavating and protection of ethnic cultural and paying attention to the protection of non-material cultural heritages are analyzed in this paper ,as well as making the work of the cultural classics well. So study and protect the non-material cultural heritage of qiang would produce profound influence and significance for protecting our traditional culture and ethnic culture diversity, as well as promoting cultural innovation and development and improving the level of the development of cultural industry in our country.
