With the advent of globalization, intellectualization, and information, supply chain management attracts more attentions. People have a deeper impression on supple chain integration. To benefit more, the enterprises apply to corporate with the other upper and backward enterprises, and conduct logistics management together instead of tradition separate-operation mode. Different upper and backward enterprises found supply chain alliance, and make the whole supply chain system operate harmoniously through integrated and systematic management. Now, there are more and more researches on supply chain system formed by transportation and logistics. It can improve the corporation and integrity between every part of logistics; however, it is still difficult to consider them as two factors of one united -optimized problem, and do comprehensive research. This thesis gives full consideration to the problem, and coupling task integration mode to the optimization problem of transportation and inventory.Although task integration mode is the main way to lower shipping cost, it is rarely to find out researches on this issue. In this thesis, we are trying to coupling task integration mode to the optimization problem of transportation and inventory. The target is to research the supply chain system combined by retailers and the transporters, and use the operation into the Transportation Inventory Integrated Optimization. The operation is one of main ways which to reduce the transport costs, and at present there are few ITIO of articles that choice rarely involved in this kind of research. So it will put the idea of Operation Integration to the joint optimization of transport and inventory among the problem of Transportation Inventory Integrated Optimization in this paper. In this paper we will main research the sully chain system which was consisted by suppliers, retailers and transportations. It takes full account of transportation and inventory cost factor, and reaches transportation and inventory optimization problem of a single product which Faced with stochastic demand, and it uses the idea of operational integration to establish the model of the transport and inventory. Selecting the Strategy of Operation Integration, and allowing out of stock in the costs of inventory. There is a relationship between product of random demand and retailer lead time, and the retailers taking account of the inventory level and the relationship when ordering the products. It selects a reasonable statement holds and use the relationship between Re-order points and lead time to solve the problem of operation waiting times in the idea of operation integration. It also gets a reasonable waiting time by solving the model. And at the same time, we get the best optimal order quantity, reorder point and the best lead-time by choosing this case of the transport strategy. Firstly, this paper gives a brief introduction to the research background and research significance, and some research and theories about transportation and inventory optimization. Then establishing the integration of multi-cycle operations transportation and inventory model on the base of these results, and solving the optimal ordering frequency, the best order quantity of retailers within one year. After that, we established a single-cycle transport and inventory model which based on the idea of operation integration. In this section, retailers and suppliers select the strategies of operation integration. We established a single cycle optimization model and got the optimal solution. Comparing this with the strategies out of operation integration, we have a clear mind that operation integration can reduce cost. Through the comparison, they can get the reasonable waiting time range. Finally, the conclusion can be proved by a example. Based on the first two chapters, we can have a deeper investigation about how to short the lead time by using an operation processing formula in the last part of this thesis. In this part, by increasing the processing cost of the lead time long operation and shorting the operation lead-time, we can cut down the operation stock-out cost and operation waiting cost. Based on this, we can build a least cost mode of transportation and inventory to get the best waiting time and lead time.
