Traditional project management is about the mode of single project management related to scale,cost,schedule,quality and etc. As more and more quantities of projects, the enterprise, often and often, need to manage multi-projects executed by juxtaposition-Multi-Projects Management. Different from traditional project management mode, multi-projects management mode mainly is about the resource allocation, cost, and the efficiency of resource of multi-projects. That the execution of multi-projects is successful or not, will result in the enterprise' economic benefits directly.The Project Portfolio Management is concerned on the management of resource allocating, prioritizing, resource balancing, project selecting in the level of organization strategy. Project Portfolio Management is not that simply managing many projects, but also, that exceeding the border of the traditional project management, and associated the execution of multi-projects with the enterprise strategies as the bridge of enterprise' projects and strategy. The Project Portfolio Management mainly contains four contents:risk/benefit analyzing, project portfolio optimizing, project portfolio decision, and monitoring and controlling the process of project portfolio'execution.The paper introduced the method of Project Portfolio Management to Telecommunication Engineering Corporation aimed to solve the questions and contradictions existed during the execution of multi-projects. The resolution includes:establishing the system of Project Portfolio Management, improving resource allocation and the rate of resource'utilization, and the approach to project's selection and portfolio optimization and etc. The final is that shoot down the questions and contradictions encountered in multi-projects management.
