In the current basic telecommunication service provider market in China, telecommunication services and products are becoming severely homogenized, competence differences between companies are widening progressively. As the Chinese Telecommunication market takes one more step to open its door, referring to the pricing regulation policy of Chinese government, the competitions between Telecomm. SPs (service provider) are getting into a white-hot stage; For all three main Telecomm. SPs after reshuffle of the enterprises within Chinese Telecomm Market, they believe the key to set up a suitable marketing strategy is the pricing for the products. Only after carefully analysis of different factors that would affect the telecommunication service pricing, and combine with quantitative analysis of GZ-HK IPLC(international private lease circuit) price trend, we would be able to perform a dynamic optimization on the pricing for all products as if someone shoot the arrow on the target.Guangdong province, pioneer of China's Reform & Opening Up at the front, orders (taking GZ-HK IPLC as an example) are vigorous through out the years. Guangdong China Telecom and PCCW are the main SP regionally, according to the analysis results by using methods like Market Share or the resource coverage rate. China Mobile and other ISP with wholesale and retail methods played the role of price breaker. China Unicom Guangdong branch is a new player in this field with a equivalent comprehensive competitive strength, however, encounter a maze in the GZ-HK IPLC product positioning field; that is, using low price would increase the quantity of customer but not profit, regardless the draw back on the enterprise image, or using higher price following the main SPs which lead to a slow growth in market share.This article will first briefly go through the telecomm product pricing method and the results from previous researches. On one hand, we give SWOT analysis for GZ-HK IPLC competitors, which is based on Guangdong & Hong Kong market circumstance and China Unicom's own strength. On the other hand, we comb out main factors which affect the pricing for GZ-HK IPLC by taking advantage of my personal working experience in the telecommunication market. Main factors that affect the product pricing will be embody and shown in the questionnaire. Analyze the results from the questionnaire and find out the weights of different factors.The following paragraph will provide a full analysis and evaluation on the current market environment and product operational facts of the China Unicom GZ-HK IPLC management. According to previous analysis, Meanwhile, collect and sort out the GZ-HK IPLC average pricing fluctuation data from the past 39 months, forecast the seasonal price trend by using a Moving Average method. Base on the results, combine with the current telecomm pricing principle, set up the GZ-HK IPLC pricing strategy.Lastly this article has pointed out the direction for further research in the future, based on the evaluation and conclusion to the research findings from an implementation result point of view.
