The Influences Of Foreign Direct Investment On China's Banking

The banking is one of the three industry in finance, and it is playing a very important role in financial system, as well as bringing the irreplaceable effect into the development of national economy. After joined into WTO and fulfilled the promises step by step, China has already opened the banking marketplace entirely by now. That means, foreign banks have no restriction of region, business and customer. At the same time, with influx of foreign banks, our supervision is up against a great number of challenges. Under this background, how chinese-funded banks should survey advatanges and disadvantages themselves and rise to the challenges, how banking system stability and banking supervision institute be effected, and how China should walk out a way to develop banking economy, are core contents of this paper in the main body.The thesis attempts to study the influnce of foreign direct investment in six chapeters. The first chapter I introduce the history of banking development, and the current situation of banking development all over the world. The second chapter, I introduce the background and motivation of foreign direct investment in China's banking industry. In the third and forth, I present the situation of foreign banks in China, and make a SWOT analysis of chinese-funded banks. The fifth, the influnces of foreign direct investment on China's banking industry. The sixth, the developing strategy and the suggestions, especially in the law aspect.The research method is this thesis's innovation. This thesis study the phenomenon from economy and management point of view, which is different from almost all the relative thesises. In the addition, law plays a significant part owing to its essentiality. And it is also make use of both macrostructure and microstructure in the analysis.
