In late 1990s, drastic changes have taken place in global economy, and knowledge economy brings in an ever-changing environment, which influences enterprises and human resource management as well. Meanwhile, it brings in challenges in senior executives in the enterprises. Nowdays, a growing number of senior executives, including chairman, CEO, SVP, board secretary and so on.when an enterprise is making a compensation scheme of senior executives, some comprehensive factors should be considered, especially ever-changing environment should be emphasized, as the compensation of senior executives cannot function well without the ever-changing of the enterprises. In the other word, the compensation of senior executives must be coincident with the ever-changing environment, then it could play a key role in this way.Under the particular environment, enhancing the reform of compensation, especially the compensation of senior executives of State Owned Enterprises, and coordinating the relations of different sides is significant. In this way, the activity and creativity of senior executives in SOE will be greatly improved, and our harmonious society will be better established as well. The thesis consists of seven chapters, and the main content is listed as follows,Chapter One is preface, which briefly introduces the background of subject and the purpose and the significance of the research, then it summrizes the research status of compensation at home and abroad.Chapter Two introduces relavant concepts of compensation and theory of compensation, makes overview about the basis of compensation design and principles of compensation design and its structure, then introduces performance appraisal, contingency and equality.Chapter Three analyzes the environmental changes in enterprises and the inflences over senior executives'compensation, based on ever-changing environment, and the main idea is about theory of contingency and equality, the perspctive of senior executives of enterprises, make elaborate introduction of the necessity of compensation adjustment.Chapter Four introduces the method of performance appraisal, compensation scheme of senior executives in SOE, and the problems of compensation management of the executives in SOE and the defficiences of compensation scheme. Chapter Five gives the adjusted scheme of compensation of senior executives in SOE based on ever-changing environment.Chapter Six designs the compensation scheme of senior executives of SOE, based on ever-changing environment, and gets the result of calculation.Chapter Seven summarizes the main job and deficiences of the thesis.
