The production planning and scheduling of traditional enterprise aimed at a single factory production environment. With the rapid transportation and communication technology development and business expansion, manufacturing plants of an enterprise locate in all around in the world and complete the orders through the Internet collaboration and information sharing. As a result, a global manufacturing system is appearing. Under the global manufacturing environment, how to response to customers quickly, how to achieve multi-plant production planning and scheduling through collaboration, and how to deal with uncertain manufacturing environment of multi-plant and recovery rapidly? To solve these problems, production planning and scheduling of multi-plant from an overall perspective are researched in this thesis. It's very meaningful for enterprise with multi-plant in aspect of methodology and practice. These main researches in this thesis includes: (1) A available to promise-based (ATP) model of multi-plant collaborative production planning is proposed to guarantee to meet customer orders, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the enterprises competitiveness. A multi-plant planning model based on ATP is established by mathematical programming mix method. A genetic algorithm with the hierarchical algorithm is proposed. (2) For the production process of a dynamic environment, the multi-plant collaborative re-scheduling method with emergency orders is proposed. A multi-plant collaboration re-scheduling algorithm is established to find a best way for the emergency order to divide its demand to different plant. (3) The multi-stage unrelated parallel machine scheduling model under the batch process environment is proposed. Based on batch division rules and batch priority rules, A genetic algorithm is used to solve this model quickly. Based on data and information of a liquid packaging manufacturing enterprise, I the developed a multi-plant production planning and scheduling system. I also given the study case to verify the theory and method proposed in this paper with the combination with liquid packaging manufacturing production planning and scheduling problems. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approaches can improve the profits of enterprise and reduce production time.
