Risk Management And Control Of Fluid Bed Dryer Project

With the dramatic increase of the marketing demands, the production capacity of the dry products workshop becomes the bottleneck of the business development of the company. In order to increase the production capacity and fulfill the new GMP and safety requirements, the company decides to modify the dry products workshop to introduce a new Fluid Bed Dryer suite (FBD). The consequence of the project out of control is serious since the project requires large amount investment and also a long lead-time. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a risk control on the project.Using Integrate Risk Management framework, the study fully understand the objective and scope of the FBD project. The study identify the project risk by flow-chart and risk list method and assess each risk using risk matrix. The risk is then managed by risk migration, risk dispersion and risk reduction. The study also develops risk management strategy for each identified risk. The risks of fluid bed dryer suite project are successfully controlled and play an important role in the success of the project.
