The Estimating Research On The Effieiencies Of Chinese Listed Commercial Banks

The issue of efficiency is one of the core problem that economics studies , all the west economics studies is how to realize the max benefit. Efficiency of banking is the sign of its competence, improving the banking efficiency is the foundation of reducing financial risk and driving banking sustainable development. In china, the listed commercial bank is main body of our financial system, which concerns the entire distribution of resources, then affect the development of our financial industry. Therefore, estimates on the banking efficiency and analysis on it's influencing factors, is quite important for improving efficiency ,working out correct competition tactics and lessening financial risks. And then, choosing index from the factors that affect bank efficiency, working out regression analysis on cost efficiency.After consulting the present research and reviewing the domestic and foreign research results, this paper begins to compare parameter and non-parameter methods. Then use parameter method to measure cost efficiency. Selected 11 Chinese listed commercial banks as samples, and then measured the cost-effective values of these 11 commercial banks from 2001 to 2008.On the basis of empirical studing, by analysing the bottleneck of banking efficiency, trying to find strategies and suggestions to improve the efficiency of Chinese listed commercial banks. First, promote the reform of bank property system and build the diversification of property system; Second, accelerate banking structure integrate and controll the expansion of banks; Third, enhense the control and improve restraint mechanism reinforce; Fourth, change finance controlling, improve management control system; last, develop various form of banking business , encourage financial innovative.
