The Marxist Analysis Of The 2008 Financial Crisis

The 2008 financial crisis triggered by the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis has developed into a hundred-year global capitalist economic crisis. The crisis not only makes a profound impact on the world economic system and the future direction but also raises people's introspection and new understanding on the existing economic theory.This paper will use economic cycle theory of Marxism and Marxist philosophy to analysis the current financial crisis while putting it into the background of the historic globalized world economy. Besides finding out the meaning, representation and affects of the 2008 financial crisis, the development pattern of the economic cycle will be revealed and the future direction of the crisis will be grasped by a general analysis of the crisis under the economic globalization. The opportunities and challenges China faced in the crisis as well as what measures should be taken in response to it will also be maintained.In this paper, the problem-oriented mode of writing, literature studies, comparative analysis, system analysis and research method are used to analysis the 2008 crisis. There are three parts for analysis. Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism are the theoretical guidance. The first part of the paper is the introduction of Marxism economic crisis and cycle theory; using the theoretical tools, combining with the 2008 financial crisis'the specific performance and international and domestic ,economic and political and other aspects impacts, the second part of the paper is mainly the analysis of the nature of the financial crisis; The final key lies in how to correctly understand the opportunities and challenges in China brought about by the 2008 financial crisis, and how to resolve the problems caused crisis by the crisis by using the latest achievements of Marxism in China, the concept of scientific development, to confront and to resolve China's long-standing chronic illness triggered by the crisis.
