During "the tenth five-year project", our rate of contribution of agricultural science and technology have greatly improved, but the conversion rate of agricultural scientific research still stuck at 20% to 40%, which means there has been considerable refuse in these technological achievements. The causes are manifold, such as the technology itself, the extension itself, and the main reason is that the lack awareness of the principal role of farmers in relevant departments. The principal role relies heavily on the quality of the recipient, especially after the peasant workers go out today. It is necessary to consider the fact that the migrant families dominate the rural countries.This article is to study migrant families'participation behavior in agricultural technology extension of the Southwest China and the related factors involved in the relationship between the model estimated by families of migrant workers, to reveal the factors involved in behavior and mechanism. This paper uses economics, developing economics theory and technology induced theory in analysis on the choice of agriculture technique firstly, and analyzes the investigation data to find out the factors, then advances some suggestions. First the paper uses descriptive statistical analysis to find out the factors affecting migrant families'participation, and then analyzes the factors with Cumulative Logit Model by SPSS. In the end, according to the analyses above, we draws conclusions and proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.It has been concluded from the study and research that the participation of the families is affected by various factors, such as education time of household, agriculture technique guidance and training, post, the degree of organization, the lending etc. And the passive families has the largest proportion, then the active ones second, the cooperative families has the smallest.
