| After the establishment of the capitalist mode of production, with the formation of the global market, the relationship about economic, political and cultural areas among countries continue developing and become more and more close increasingly. When States in accordance with certain common standards or according to some kind of international agreements made in the above aspects arrangements, that is the formation of the international monetary system.The reforming of the international monetary system is a hot discussion by the international community for several decades, but remain a inconclusive issue. Now, the primary problem facing by the international monetary reforming is the future choice of international standard money. Therefore, the study on future international standard money has a strong practical significance。In this paper, standard money of various periods is a symbol, which recall the evolution of the international monetary system in every period of history. And then, the paper points out the advantages and disadvantages of the international standard money. Next, focused on the analysis of the characteristics of the current international monetary system. Pointed out the infeasibility about the reform program of which trying to restore all the old system. Finally, summarized the general characteristics of the standard money, outline the most feasible options for the future international monetary system.In the future, as important elements, U.S. dollar, euro and yuan is the major currency basket of the international monetary system, which should be integrated into a new international standard money. Also, this paper points out that, China should promote the internationalization of the RMB actively. alongside U.S. dollar, euro, yuan should develop into the international reserve currency. This is the only way towards the regional monetary integration of East Asian areas, and also a necessery step about the construction of the future international standard money. |
