Customer relationship management in commercial banking, which centers on customer, is gradually drawing everyone's attention. The grate customer relationship management is capable of bringing about tremendous revenue for bank. Data mining can anticipate customer behavior, and support people decision-making accordingly. How to make use of data mining technology to effectively provide decision-making information for bank managers is the key of customer relationship management system for commercial banks.DM can find useful information and knowledge effectively from much customer's data,and then promote effectively quality of CMR,it reaches the aim which can raise the bank competition. The thesis discusses the bank's application of CRM,which bases on DM,especially bank customer classification. The contents is very important for bank's CRM's carrying out.This paper is trying to do some systematic exploration on the application of data mining in commercial banking customer relationship management. For this purpose,the paper will further its discussion based on related document summary, At first,this thesis analyzes CRM's Intension,procedure,corn ideology and the type of customer relationship management system. Then it introduces DM's technique and the course of DM,analysis of DM's technique in common use. It mentions DM is apply for Customer Relationship Management system. At last,it analyses the application of DM in bank data. It argues that an example of bank customer's analysis which is to run off based on DM and based decision tree. Positive researches indicated that the prediction correct rate of sample is higher, so research approach is effective and reasonable.
