With the development of information technology and information dynamic requirements, under circumstaces of customer real-time location-based service needs and the interactive industry application demands rising rapidly, changing Internet information age is constantly changing, a new mobile networks is introduced, together with the Internet revolution pose an opportunity and a challenge on the development of geographic information services. At present, a large number of users via the movable PC, multimedia information terminals, mobile phones communicate with the Internet in an interactively way.Under circumstances above mentioned, the resulting geographical information service channels associated with spatial location have become more wider, such as:traditional Internet browser, MMS, SMS, WAP etc.To deal with many ways of geographical information interactiveness and sharing, we focus our concentration on these two main parts:first, in the aspect of geographical information service, how to organizing, storing and managing the existing information resources effectively? How to provide all ranks of client with information service in a efficient way? Secondly, in the aspect of user's information acquisition, how to fastly acquire the information user's required through a simple and effective interaction between client and computer interface? This paper analyses the application of urban geographical information service in a more detailed way. In order to extend to the scope of GIS application, make more user groups can be easily enjoy the geographic information services, in this paper through the construction of new urban geographic information retrieval services model and multi-channel information fusion approach to achieve information collection, organization, storage and manage, combined with semantic ontology information technology to achieve efficiently retrieve GIS hot information, and using Oracle Spatial engine to excute the spatial analysis processing and to provide multi-level users with urban geographic information retrieval services.
