In the early oilfield life, we know few obout the geologic conditions underground. And the informations from the pioneer wells are limitied for us to fully understand the development of whole oil reservoir. All of them will affect the well productions significantly. At the same time, the well accumulation and filed recovery will be reduced. In order to achieve the rational development of reservoir, the systematic and reliably oilfield development plan should be worked out.In the development plan, the optimization of development parameters is the key work at the early stage of oilfield development. In this paper, we outstanding the design of development plan of W58 sector in M oilfield. In order to work out the best development plan of W58, we mainly use the methods of reservoir numerical simulation and the design of development plan to research this problem. We build the geologic model using the present materials of geology and development of W58, prove the availability.of the development plan, optimize the development plan of this block, provide the technique of the development of it and simultaneously provide experience for other blocks. So, we do some research in the following.Systematic survives the geological characteristic of this reservoir and makes appropriate optimum for the parameters related designation of reservoir exploitation based on reservoir simulation technique. In the research, the mainly content about geological survey, parameters optimized and forecasted for the early stage of exploitation have been systematic proposed. All of these can be an instruction for other reservoirs exploitation plans' designation at an early stage.This paper focuses on the designation of the exploitation plan at the early stage for W58 sector. In this paper the main researchs include as below:First, we make a feasibility assessment and divide the layer system. After that, we build the geologic modeling of the stage of development, the value a number for every grid, make history matching based on the single rate, and finally decide the necessity and feasibility of water flooding development through adjusting the relative permeability of oil/water and fluid productivity index.Second, based on the geologic modeling and history matching, we can determine the way of development and parameters of horizontal wells and vertical wells by optimizing the parameters of horizontal wells and vertical wells. For the horizontal wells, we should optimize the well pattern, well spacing, per well production and time of conversion and for the vertical wells, we should optimize the well pattern, density, position of horizontal wells, the length of horizontal line and production rate.Third, combined the results of development plan parameters and results of reservoir engineering, we compared among the horizontal well pattern, horizontal well pattern and the mixed well pattern, and finally we considered horizontal well pattern as the best development plan. We suggest that you should improve the present well pattern and evaluate the economic benefit after evaluating the present well pattern and predicting recovery ratio and distribution of remaining oil.
