The Yan-10 of Loufangping Area, which lies in the south of Ordos basin, is one of the most important reservoirs in Yan'an formation. In recent years, with the further additional exploration and full development, Yan-10 layer becomes the focus of the area. At the present, Yan-10 reservoir is in the early exploration and development phase. The oil wells are mostly in a high water content ratio. There are many problems needed to solve in order to product more oil, such as the geological background in the area isn't clear and the water content ratio of region production is rapidly rising.On the basis of the fine stratigraphic classification and correlation of Yan'an formation, combined with well data and logging data, the paper studies the time-space evolution of sedimentary facies and rebuilds the paleogeomorphology of the pre-Jurassic based on formation thickness from erosion bed to upper and lower marker beds. It also summarizes characteristic of the Yan-10 reservoir in Loufangping area by studying the oil wells group of Yan-10 and the typical Yan-10 reservoir section plane. Through above various aspects, we forecast the ranges of frofitability for prospecting.Compared the current production status of Yan-10 reservior in the area with the cumulative oil production and the average daily oil production of the single oil well, and so on, the paper analyzes and evaluates the reservoir. On this basis, combined with the production performance and the hydrocarbon enrichment regularity (such as permeability, oil saturation, etc.) to find the correlation. Then, according to the parameters, the paper calculated the reserves and made the reservoir assessment through the integrated research on the features of the physical property.Through the statistics of the water injection data, the paper classified and summarized the oil well productivity changes according to the changes of water injection. At the same time, the other developed enabling layers in the area were also researched. The research suggested that We should comprehensive utilizate the research results to guide further exploration and development, while taking advantage of the production data to further demonstrate the exploration production and development research.
