In this paper, we construct a double set 13-parameter trapezoid plate element with symmetry form to following plate bending problem: ?u ? I t34u +2 ., t3u &u U = ?= ?= 0 ax ay ac Its nodal parameters are function values at four vertices, four middle points of the edges, central point of the element and the mean values of the outer normal derivatives of four edges. The space of the shape function is: By utilizing Finite Element Program Generator System (FEPG), we do calculation and numerical analysis to this double set 13-parameter trapezoid plate element in uniform meshes in trapezoidal region. Contrasted with well-known ACM element and 16-parameter rectangular plate element (Bogner-Fox-Schmit element), we testifj its calculability and verify its higher precision and stability.
