Today, a lot of application systems combine with GIS, such as diagnosis Expert System including the diagnosis the varies aspects of society, economy, and agriculture; forecast Expert System including the forecast of weather, hydrometeorology, population, geography, economy, military affairs, politics, etc; Decision Supporting System including the aspect of engineering design, programming, consultation, management etc. The traditional GIS system can only use mathematic method to describe and explain the confirmed programs but the power of making space decision and solving the uncertain programs are very weakly. But in the real word, the programs we meet are in uncertain as Well as certain, or intervenient, so in practice we need combine with GIS and ES (Engineer System) and establish intelligent GIS system (EGIS). In EGIS, GIS can provide powerful analysis of space relationships and geographical data; ES can solute the knowledge reasoning and make decision.Es and GIS are all very big systems. How to effectively integrate them and realize their function is the key technology of EGIS. Here we study the method of using COM subassembly and OLE Automation technology to solve the integrate problem. This technology can fulfill the task of data's sharing and conversion, supporting the synchronization of space decision reasoning analysis and space information manipulation, realizing the seamless integration.The paper based on solving the evaluation of land using problem, by anglicizing the deficiency of GIS's space decision and the merit of EGIS. And lucubrate the integration method of ES and GIS.
