Institute of Applied Geophysics in Central South University has long been taking up with developing instruments used in electric method and has brought out Double Frequency IP instrument (SQ series) .. Tri-frequency IP instrument Dam-seepage measuring instrument(DB series). The article which mainly includes Pseudo-random Multi-function Multi-frequency Surveying System, simply introduces the instrument' s working principle, but uses most chapters to present the data processing ability of the apparatus which is carried out through the instrument' s software programs. The article has summarized several arrays' data processing means which are always used in electric method, such as central gradient array^ tri-pole array (always used unite profiling method) -> dipole-dipole array and symmetric tetra-pole sounding array which are widely used in resistivity method and IP(Induced Polarization) method, as CSAMT(Controlled Source Audio-frequency Magnetotellurics)array which belongs to electromagnetic observing category. And the programs are made according to the requirements of the instruments' running. At last, two programs are available. One runs in DOS(Disk Operating System) environments directly by the instrument and that is programmed under the consideration of the characters of Pseudo-random Multi-function Multi-frequency observing data. The program classifies the data according to different array and provides graphs of Fs(apparent frequency distribution ratio), Ps(apparent resistivity) , A (relative phase) sectional drawing and contour graph if it is needed. Another program runs in Windows environments which remedies the shortcomings of the first one. That is it can store and print the graph and give out the one dimension backwards result of the data obtained by symmetric tetra-pole sounding array.
