Client / Server Model-based Defense Engineering Information Management System Design And Implementation

GIS applications gradually infiltrate into the field of transaction processing and the function of the general DBMS that manages spatial data extends rapidly,as a result,the integration of GIS and MIS - a type of development of Practical GIS becomes the mode .Combined with the research of the National-defence project information system,the dissertation presents the theory and method research on the system integration of PowerBuilder and Maplnfo Professional,management modes of the spatial data and the attribute data,maneuver of data security,copying the frame of the database or the table and transferring data,dynamical creating and outputting of complex Chinese reports,maneuver of gathering data,etc. And besides,it puts forward the corresponding solutions and realization approach .System integration Technique is used in the design of the system,And satisfactory effects result from the extensions of the function of the datawindow and the data pipeline witch fetch up the limitation of the PowerBuilder in the creating Chinese report and transferring data. The application system is widely used in the maintenance and management of the national-defence projects' information,and it's proved to be valuable in the practice.
