Based On Spatial Location Information Services (lbs) Platform

Nowadays, mobile communication technology has become a focus of attention in modern development of communication technology. Cell phone, which is a leading role in Personal Communication System, has been greatly developed as well for its convenience and rapidity. Location-Based System, which is combined by Wireless Locating Technology and Mobile Communication Technology, could provide different users with an instantaneous interface for accessing real world. It will offer different information services, including some services which are relevant to the geographic position where mobile terminal users are, to different users at any time and any place. Therefore, GIS has become the key technology in the technology of Location-Based System, which is also the emphasis of my paper.In this dissertation, Personal Location-Based System has been discussed and researched by involving the technologies of Location-Based System and Geographic Information System. The technology of mobile platform locating in GSM system whose elementary contents are the discussion about the system structure, procedure and standard methods of locating in GSM system, has been detailedly analyzed and debated. In variable locating technologies, we select a most rational strategy and mathematical model for the complex GSM system. In our model, we distinguish all the functions of each GSM sub-system in locating technology, and realized the function of locating module. Through the research of the history, current condition and relevant technologies of Geographic Information System, we come up with a structure of distributed GIS, which is based on a more logical mobile GIS platform. According to the structure of mobile GIS, we refer to a portable database.The emergence of LBS informationizes and intelligentizes wireless personal Location-Based System and provides users with more beneficial operations. At the same time, providers of mobile communications could broaden the markets and produce infinite profits by extending LBS. It is definitely one of the most active aspects of economic increment currently and has great market potential and anticipation.
