Because the method of geoelectrochemisty which search the buried ore deposit has a special advantage and effect in the earth's surface coving with a thick overburden layer, and the foreground of its application is very amplitude. This paper combined the geoelectrochemical extraction measurenment technique which has been handle first in the study of region in Fenghuangshan copper ore deposit in Anhui and the character of its geology,geophysics and geochemisty, after study for three years on the current situation,the working principle,the genetic mechanism,the field operation, the apparatus, the anomaly feature,the influenced factors and the prospecting appraisal on the geoelectrochemistry.Some achievements have been gotten as follows:1. The geoelectrochemical method was employed firstly to explorate and forecast the buried ore deposits in Fenghuangshan copper ore deposit in Anhui, and systemly summarized the forming mechanism of geoelectrochemical anomaly, the field operation and the condition of its application and discussed the kinetics mechanism of ion anomaly.2. The feature of stratigraphy, magma, construction and ore body is more understood through past geological information and filling in the geological chart, as well as the quartz monzonite diorite porphyry, metallogenetion and the anomaly of the geoelectrochemistry.3. Eight sections of the anomaly feature of Cu and Au geoelectrochemistry have been discoved and summarized through carfully analying the data of the geoelectrochemical extraction measurement technique. Then it increased prospecting data and the symbol of anomaly feature of Cu and Au geoelectrochemistry has been summarized.4. After earful investigation, four kinds of interference factors about this method have been summarized: (1) the factor of geologic body; (2) the factor of construction; (3) the factor of the earth' s surface coving with a thick overburden layer; (4) the factor of power supply. The characteristics of these interference and the way of elimination have beenindicated.5. Four big anomaly field of copper have been found throngh the which used the method of geoelectrochemical extraction measurement to search concealed ore deposition,and the accurate and powerful theory and technology have been provided to orientate prognosticate ,and it has confirmed the avail target region in the field of prospecting and approved that this study region in Fenghuangshan copper ore deposit has a good exploration foreground.6. Based on the employed appraise and contrast analysis with the results of geology, geophysis and geochemistry, this method can be used in predication of the place of concealed ore body, and some geoelectrochemical anomalies have been testified by drill well. This result is consistent with the uncovered concealed ore body. This show in practice that the geoelectrochemical extraction measurement technique is effective and has wide application.7. After study, it shows clearly that the geoelectrochemical extraction measurement technique is an effective exploration tool for concealed ore deposit finding. This method is characterized by simple fieldwork,convenient transportation of samplies,stable informations of anomaly and better reappearance of anomaly.
