It is difficult for traditional 2-dimensional exploration method to find middle and small size fault layers and the 3-dimensional exploration work began from 1970s. Compared with 2-dimensional exploration method, 3-dimensional one has the advantages of greater data sampling density and better precision imaging capabilities, in this way it is more beneficial to research the underground detail structures. 3-dimensional coherency technique is an efficient method to find and recognize fault layers from 3-dimensional seismic data of all techniques. This article researches 3-dimensional coherency technique's application and accomplishment in fault layers' recognition and takes account of coherency function to pop out the data's unevenness in seismic data when fault layers occur. Then the horizontal cut piece to the coherency data will be done and the following step is to display the fault layers. | Keywords/Search Tags: | 3-dimensional coherency techniques, 3-dimensional seismic, exploration, 2-dimensional seismic exploration, fault laye, seismic materials, horizontal cut piece | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
