At present, the applications of Geo-Information System (GIS) is in the level, which deal with the continuous three dimension object by the means of two dimension way. The capacity of disposing three-dimension problem is still scant which use present tools; it needs to visualize the objective entities very much in the mine, geologic and physical geography field ect.2D GIS has some limitation in representing the 3D entities, In most field, 3D GIS need to be used imminently, such as city planning, geology and weather ect. So the search of 3D GIS is the important development way of the GIS theory and utility. 3D GIS couldn't dispose efficiently all the type of spatial entities, if we just adopt a method, for the use of 3DGIS.A regular grid method is used in this article, according to the specialty of the underground passage, the method how to establish 3D model of the underground passage is be discussed. Base on this way, a type of object-oriented development tool — visual C++ and OpenGL(Open Graphics Library),is adopted to realize the visualization of the underground passage. The experiment program realizes a few interactive operation functions and some spatial analysis function. We can roam in this application program; query the coordinate of the point we have selected; it has realized get section-cutting. graphics and the distance of two points in the space. Finally, discussing the testing system's characteristic, and putting forward some questions and shortcoming to be disposed.
