The Drell-Yan process in p-A collision is similar to deep inelastic scattering (DIS) process, and it is widely used in studying the structure of bound nucleon. The energy-loss effect in nuclear matter is another nuclear effect apart from the nuclear effects on the parton distribution as in deep inelastic scattering process. The quark energy loss can be measured best by the nuclear dependence of the high energy nuclear Drell-Yan process.By means of three kinds of quark energy loss parametrization given inliterature i.e. , and the nuclear partondistribution, we calculate the nuclear Drell-Yan differential cross-section ratios versus x2, then compare with E772 and E866 data. It is found that the results are in agreement with the experimental data at small x2. With considering the existence of quark energy-loss effect, the energy-loss effect should be taken into account for extractions of nuclear parton distribution functions from the nuclear Drell-Yan process.
