Jialingjiang formation of low Triassic system is one of the main producing-gas layers in the west area of Shunan at all times. The foremen had gained poignant realization about the deposition, reservoir, structural fracture and the source of hydrocarbon of Jialingjiang formation through overall and systemic study, but the overall and systemic study on the migration and accumulation conditions of natural gas of Jialingjiang pool in the research area have not been done up to the present, which does affect the further exploration and exploitation of the natural gas in Jialingjiang formation to some extent.Guided by the principles and the theories of Structural Geologysy, Petroleum & Natural-Gas Geology, Pool- Geochemistry, systemic study on the migration conditions and the accumulation conditions of the natural gas in Jialingjiang formation is firstly been done one by one in this paper on the basis of analyzing and studying the seismal explanation outcomes, drilling well materials, test materials, analyses and assay materials and exploitation materials. Finnaly the migration conditions and the accumulation conditions of different structure areevaluated compositively.Through this study, the conclusions are gained in this paper:1) The natural gas in research area migrated to different areas in two different times. The faults and fractures that formed in the Yanshan and Himalayan stage are the main migration pathways. The natural gas migrated mainly in the vertical directyion while its migration in the lateral direction was very weakly.2) On the conditions of gas migration, Maliuchang strcture, Ziliujing structure and Huangjiachang structure have the best migration conditions; and Guandoushan structure, Yibin structure, Qingshanling structure, Xinglkongchang structure, Kongtan structure, Dengjingguan structure and Shengdengshan structure better; Jieshichang structure and Hebaochang worst.3) On the conditions of the accumulation of natural gas, the accumulation conditions of Yibin structure, Datachang structure, Maliuchang structure, Yangjiashan structure, Ziliujing structure and Huangjianchang structure are most favorable and that of Qingshanling structure and Luoguanshan structure most unfavourable.4) There have obvious distribution law in Jialingjiang natural gas pools which are mainly affected and controlled by some factors such as tectonic movement, breaking-action and the distribution of faults and fractures, the sedimentary and diagenetic action, and so on. Then the forming-gas pool pattern of the Jialingjiang natural gas pool is established.
